The advantages of Q-Ride in Mackay with Learn2ride

You do not need to hold your class RE motorbike learner licence for six months during the two years before applying for a class RE motorbike provisional, probationary or open licence.

1.  HAVE THE CORRECT LICENSE TO ENROL IN Q RIDE IN MACKAY with Brett Hoskin.

  You must hold a current class RE motorbike learner licence if you wish to  enrol in a Q Ride course to obtain your restricted RE motorcycle license. If you wish to apply for your unrestricted R class motorcycle license you must hold  a provisional or open RE motorcycle license.. In order to participate in rider training or a Qride course for your R class licensee you must have held your RE license for a minimum of 12 months.

3.  TAKE THE Q RIDE COURSE.  

Q-Ride training and assessment consists of a range  of theory and practical riding standards that your trainer will guide you through in a safe, secure training area at your pace.  You can use our bikes and equipment FREE OF CHARGE


4.  OBTAIN YOUR Q RIDE CERTIFICATE.  

When you have demonstrated you are competent in all of the requirements, your rider trainer will issue you with your  Q-Ride Certificate.


5.  GET YOUR LICENSE.

 Before you are allowed to  ride whilst  unaccompanied on your motorbike, you must take your current driver licence and Q Ride Certificate to a Department of Transport and Main Roads customer service centre in Mackay to get  your new motorbike licence.
